Lauching bike and pedestrian tunnel in Ingelmunster (BE)

In the weekend of October 14th-15th the new pedestrain and bicycle tunnel was pushed under the railway tracks as part of the refurbishment of Ingelmunster station. The works are carried out by contractor Persyn, Company Heymans was responsible for the installation. The tunnel weighs 260 tons and was moved over a length of 21 m. The access ramps will be built afterwards. The design of the new station area is a project in collaboration with the architects/0360 TV Bureau Bas Smets.
