Your privacy is important to us. NEY & PARTNERS BXL makes strong commitments in that regard. This translates, among other things, through an important basic principle:

Thus, we take all appropriate measures to protect your privacy, in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter, the ‘GDPR’) and national implementing legislation .

This Privacy Statement describes, inter alia, for what purposes, and on what legal basis NEY & PARTNERS BXL processes your personal data, for how long it is kept and what your rights in this regard are.

  1. About NEY & PARTNERS BXL

    NEY & PARTNERS BXL having its registered office at CHAUSSEE DE LA HULPE 181, 1170 BRUSSELS, with company number (hereinafter “we/we/us”), as data controller, takes the necessary measures to protect your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Law.

  2. What personal data do we collect?

    Data you communicate to us

    To use certain Services, you will need to provide some personal information, such as your name, first name, delivery address, account or credit card number.
    When using our Services, we collect the data you introduce.
    We may also collect personal data if you interact with us, for example if you send an e-mail with questions about our Services, or through cookies. For more information on the processing of personal data through cookies, please consult our cookie policy.

  3. Why do we use this personal data, and on what legal basis?

    1. Because it is necessary to perform the agreement between us:
      The following processing operations are necessary for the performance of the agreement. In these cases, if you do not provide the personal data or do not allow us to process it, we will unfortunately not be able to provide you with the Services:

      • Set up and maintenance (including prevention and troubleshooting) of the Services.

    • If you tell us your postal address: NEY & PARTNERS BXL may also contact you by post in connection with your purchase.

  5. To which third parties, if any, will this data be passed on?

    1. Suppliers
      NEY & PARTNERS BXL uses other companies, agents or service providers to perform certain services on its behalf or assist it in providing Services. For example, NEY & PARTNERS uses suppliers to deliver your purchase, process credit card transactions and mitigate fraud on credit card transactions or other payment methods, provide customer service, collect debts. These suppliers may access your personal data or other information in the course of providing such services.
      By default, we allow our suppliers to process your personal data only to the extent necessary for the provision of their services.
      If a supplier wishes to process your data for purposes other than the provision of their service (e.g. to communicate about their own services to you), your data will only be passed on to them with your consent.

    We keep your data for a period of 24 months.

    You have the following rights in relation to our processing of your personal data under well-defined conditions:

      You have the right to obtain information about whether or not personal data about you are being processed, and where this is the case to access it. If we cannot give you access to your personal data (e.g. because of legal obligations), we will let you know why this is not possible.
      You can also obtain a free copy, in an understandable form, of the personal data processed. Please note that we may charge a reasonable fee to cover our administrative costs for each additional copy you request.
    2. Right of improvement:
      You have the right to have incomplete, incorrect, inappropriate or outdated personal data removed or corrected. We will then correct or delete this information as necessary within the time limits set by law.
    3. Right of erasure:
      You have the right to obtain erasure of the personal data concerning you in certain cases. For example, when the use of your personal data is based on consent and you have withdrawn your consent, when this data must be deleted because of a legal obligation or when the data has been processed wrongly.
    4. Right of limitation:
      You have the right to restrict the processing of personal data concerning you in certain cases. For example:
      If, in your opinion, the personal data are not correct and for the period of time necessary for NEY & PARTNERS BXL to verify the accuracy of such personal data;
      When the processing is unlawful but you do not want the data deleted;
      If you consider that our legitimate interest is unfounded, for the period necessary to verify the consideration.
      Your personal data will be retained in such case, but will be used by NEY & PARTNERS BXL only in limited cases (following your consent, as necessary for our defence in court…).
    5. Right of objection
      You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain cases, based on your specific situation, for example:

      If you have a complaint or concern about how we process your Personal Data, we will endeavour to address those concerns. If you feel that we have not adequately addressed your complaint or concern, you have the right to complain to a data protection authority about our collection and use of your Personal Data.     NEY & PARTNERS BXL has implemented the necessary security measures to prevent the loss, unauthorised use or alteration of information it receives on its websites.

  10. Modification of the Privacy Statement

    We will update this Privacy Statement from time to time, for example in the context of changes to its services. In this case, we will update the date at the top of this document to the date of this latest update. If there are significant changes in the Privacy Statement or in the way we use your personal data, we will notify you by posting a notice of the changes before they take effect or send you a notification via email.
