Last construction phase Multimodel Station Namur, Namur (BE)

This fall the new bus station a design by Ney & Partners will open for the public. SNCB through Eurogare, Wallonia Region, the TEC and the city of Namur joined forces to build effectively a multimodal interchange and a secure and attractive bus station for users of public transport. The bus station is situated on top of the roof of the existing rail station, which has renovated and completed at the same time. Buses will access the station over a ramp and cable-stayed bridge in order to blend as nicely as possible into the environment. In August the load tests were done successfully. Earlier this week the light tests for the canopy above the central platform, covered with photovoltaic panels, were executed during night time.
