Cruise terminal 90% finished, Antwerp (BE)

Last week the different segments of the pontoon were transported to Steenplein in Antwerp via the Scheldt river. Sea and river cruises will moor at the terminal. The 350 m long pontoon with approach ramps and a reception pavilion is part of the future tourist reception centre that will be set up on the site of Steen Castle. Ney & Partners is the designer and engineer of the terminal that was produced by the steel constructors Victor Buyck Steel Construction and Artes Roegiers. The study of the pontoons was carried out by SBE for our client AG Vespa for the City of Antwerp.
