Winning design for new city depot, Antwerp (BE)

In the new Pomppark Zuid in Antwerp, a new building will house the extensive city heritage collection of the city. Office Winhov – HUB Architects supported by Ney & Partners were chosen as the winners. For all building parts, the most sustainable solution with the lowest environmental impact was chosen, leading to a different materialization of the structure for the depot (concrete), work building (hybrid concrete and wood) and entrance building (wood).
