Retrospective exhibition ‘Ney & Partners Japan 2012-2026 with Ryuichi Watanabe’, Tokyo (JP)

On 20th and 21st of June 2026 we pay tribute to architect Ryuichi Watanabe (1976-2026) and his work for Ney & Partners Japan, which was founded in 2012. We honour his vision, commitment and dedication to Ney & Partners and want to cherish his memory.

Ryuichi Watanabe was an architect who grew into an indispensable force and ultimately into the determined founder and partner of Ney & Partners Japan. Ryuichi recognized Japan as a promising field of work and saw opportunities to contribute, through the Ney & Partners design philosophy, to a different kind of public infrastructure – one in which users, craftsmanship, and long-term vision are central. Over the course of fifteen years, he built a company with a dedicated team of colleagues and a respected portfolio of commissions, including realized projects in Nagasaki, Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo and Itabashi. His vision, commitment, and dedication to Ney & Partners will remain deeply embedded in our collective memory.

We welcome all those who want to share this event for Ryuichi Watanabe with us from Saturday 20th June from 13 pm till 16 pm and on Sunday 21st of June from 10 till 19 pm.
Address: Daikanyama Hillside Terrace, Building F — Exhibition Room
18-8 Sarugakucho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0033, Japan.
