The footbridge has a span of 30 m and a width of 2 m. The structural system consists of a single U-shaped steel profile, whereby the bottom flange serves as walking surface, the webs as a parapets and the upper flanges as the handrails. The bridge railing was laser-cut according to a pattern derived from the flow of forces. The cross section of the bridge is continuous and fluent in form.
