The structure of the 4 decks of the Valkbrug consists of alternating concrete girders with concave and convex geometries giving a special quality to the underside of the bridge. The post-tensioned beams with a span of 30 m were prefabricated. The railing, specially designed for this structure, consists of independent cast aluminum uprights. The fixing system allows 8 different positions around their axis, giving the appearance of a random layout such as reeds.
