22.040 | Sculpture ‘Oasis’

Oasis is a sculpture designed by the Belgian artist Arne Quinze, it was part of various art installations made especially for the annual light and art event in Riyadh ‘Noor Light Festival’. Quinze’s proposal symbolizes a vibrant place in the arid desert where life emerges. Ney & Partners was responsible for making the artist’s vision possible through the complete structural design of the monumental sculpture. With a maximum height of 15 m and a total width of 30 m, our main challenge was to keep the structure light, dismantlable and transportable.
