This center dedicated to the promotion of environmental projects includes low energy usage workshops and ‘passive’ standard incubator space. Our commission consisted out of the execution studies of the prefabricated facade, the frameworks in LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber), of the roof lights and the glazed facades, which bear on the main concrete structure of the building.
One of the key tasks was to undertake a precise wind study in order to define the strict minimum design loads. This allowed the identification of zones subject to different load intensities and consequently the optimization of the frameworks in relation to their situation and form.
