The construction of an above-ground car park building for Ghent University Hospital is a building of 8 levels and has a capacity of 1,794 spaces, with dimensions of 150 m x 45 m. The building is an open construction without facades. The long spans of the floors are achieved using prestressed concrete floor plates. These floors are themselves supported by a steel structure, consisting of HD profile steel beams and columns.
