The renovation of this large mansion includes offices on the ground floor and two duplex apartments on the upper floors. The rear of the property and the outdoor space have been transformed into a nursery for about 50 children. The roof of the day care center is a folded structure that carries a roof garden. The roof consists of strips of various sizes and slopes. A parametric study of the roof construction allowed us to address the architectural constraints and ally them to the behaviour of the structure. Massive laminated panels proved very suitable for this application.
