PROJECT
02.011 | Movable footbridge Stalhille
-
This project replaced the temporary bridge by a mobile pedestrian bridge with a 26 m span. The bridge deck has a width of 3 m. The proposed typology is innovative. The chosen system of kinematics keeps the same statical system, in both open and closed positions. This system is raised by four balancing arms with a counterweight. The laser-cut handrails are integrated into the structural design of the steel bridge as a load-bearing element.
