The design is conceived as one connected park landscape in which the bridges form an occasional highlight with a clear architectural signature. The isostatic steel beam bridges with structural parapets are supported by reinforced concrete abutments in cantilever. The U-shaped section of the bridge is composed of weathering steel plates. The curvature in plan view, the slanting of the edge beams and the shadow line of the intermediate stiffeners give it dynamism and identity. The result is a sober and efficient structure.
