The starting point for the design was a bridge that would require ‘no maintenance’. Therefore, the two bridges with a span of 17 m and width of 2.1 m were constructed in UHPC ultra-high strength concrete. Properly executed concrete construction does not require any maintenance. Moreover, this material can be used to create slender and beautiful objects. The advantage of UHSB is that the reinforcement coverage can be reduced from 6 cm to 2 cm.
