The Sionbridge is part of the master plan designed by a2oarchitecten and creates a relationship between the urban site “Sion”, the Valley of the Nete and the natural reserve “Nazareth”. The bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with a central structure. Steel is used for its efficiency in the weight/span ratio. The erection is also simplified and the on-site interventions are limited to the maximum.
