18.053 | ‘De Priorij Eco-recrea-duct’

Walkers and cyclists will be given a separate walking and cycling path with the ‘De Priorij’ ecorecreaduct from Groenendaal station over the Ring to the Forest Museum. This revamped connection also provides multimodal access: safe and pleasant for the gentle road user and, thanks to the planned fauna passage, an extra opportunity for plants and small animals to expand their habitat.
The ecoduct is an integral bridge with weatherproof steel girders and a concrete deck; it has a 55 m span.
