PROJECT
17.006.02 | Brewery Omer Vander Ghinste
-
The Vander Ghinste family has been brewing beer for five generations in Bellegem near Courtai. As the brewery has grown over the years, the need for a new brewhouse has become apparent. In this design process, Ney & Partners WOW carried out the execution study of the timber frame for Jonchkeere Spanten, consisting of the study of the structure, its assembly and the execution drawings. The framework has the particularity of being a reciprocal structure. It is a form of self-supporting framework in which each beam is supported on the next one and at the same time carries the previous beam, thus avoiding a central post.
