23.042 | Bicycle ramp Laval Station

Richez_Associés invited Ney & Partners to design a bicycle ramp at Laval station. An existing pedestrian bridge over the tracks had to be connected to a comfortable bike ramp. The ramp is set in a landscaped green environment, so that cyclists cycle among the treetops. The design was developed on a very limited space and with a minimal budget. It consists of a reinforced concrete ribbon on a series of steel columns.
