11.026 | Bicycle bridge ‘t Groentje

This footbridge is part of the Rijn Waalpad (Nijmegen-Arnhem cycling route), facilitating mobility around the Lent train station for both pedestrians and cyclists. The bridge itself is a slender S-shaped semi-integral box girder with two intermediate supports (spans of 30/60/30 m) and eccentric to the upper bridge deck. The bridge has a natural embankment on both abutments. The railing evokes long grasses and is fitted with LED lighting.
