17.093 | Bicycle bridge Eindhovensedijk – Oirschotsedijk (KW3)

Infrastructure KW03 is a new bridge for cyclists and pedestrians in the Green Corridor, in line with the existing bridge over the Beatrix Canal. Just like the existing bridge, KW03 is made up of three spans: the central span (about 32 m) is reserved for the infrastructure (Challenge), while the side spans to the left and right (about 16 m) provide space for the cycle connection and the wetland zone. The bridge has been designed symmetrically with its high point, its main moment centred on the bridge. This configuration also gives the users a full experience of the top of the structure, making it an iconic structure.
