Opening Exhibition ‘Franchir le vide – À pied et à vélo’, Paris (FR)

The exhibition on the occasion of the publishing of the new book by the architect and engineer Laurent Ney shows at first instance the publication on an Extra Large scale.
Six large photographs by the artist Toshio Shibata and the photographers Stijn Bollaert, Steve Troes and Momoko show either details of the bridge designs or how the user of the public infrastructures appropriate the bridges in their daily use. The film ‘De Lentloper’ is the portrait of the Nijmegen bridge and offers a poetic look and underlines how time, nature and man make everything change over time. Photo © Toshio Shibata
