Ney & Partners is proud to participate in the Belgian Architecture and Design Week at Expo 2025 Osaka (JP)

Organized by BelEXPO (the Belgian Commission General for International Exhibitions), the Belgian Pavilion will host a variety of interesting events throughout the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. Ney & Partners participates in the Belgian Architecture and Design Week, running from May 7th to 13th. Laurent Ney, Founder and CEO of Ney & Partners, along with Ryuichi Watanabe, Director of Ney & Partners Japan, will present a lecture on sustainability in infrastructure projects in Belgium and Japan. This presentation complements the World Expo’s overarching theme, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” Kenryo Takahashi, Structural Engineer at Ney & Partners BXL and an expert in tensile structures and form finding, will lead a guided tour of the Luxembourg Pavilion. Ney & Partners played a key role as the engineering advisor for the tensile roof’s structure and design, collaborating with Luxembourg’s STDM architects and Japan’s Mikan Architects-Mikangumi. The Belgian Architecture and Design Week will conclude with a lecture by Kengo Kuma, one of Japan’s most renowned architects, celebrated for his thoughtful and human-centered approach to design.
