Foundations works Poissy footbridge started, Poissy (FR)

Construction is underway for the footbridge connecting Poissy and Carrières-sous-Poissy across the Seine River in France. The contractor, LEON GROSSE responsible for the civil engineering works, along with PRO-FOND (deep foundation specialist), have started the installation of bored piles in the river. The next phase is the construction of concrete piers, which is scheduled to begin by the end of May. Execution studies for the 300-meter-long steel footbridge are currently in progress, with steelwork to be handled by MAEG.

Ney & Partners is responsible for the complete architectural and structural design of the footbridge, and the development of the riverbanks on the Carrières-sous-Poissy side. Project coordination is managed in collaboration with SCE. The new crossing is expected to be completed and operational in 2027.
