Final works for the footbridge crossing the railway in Quimper, Quimper (FR)

The construction of the footbridge is in its final phase, the painting works are almost completed. Lighting tests are currently being carried out. The light design reinforces the geometry of the bridge by putting an accent on the folds of the roof. 136 m of led lights are integrated in the roof structure. The functional lighting on the staircases of the bridge is guaranteed by LED lights integrated in the handrails. The glass railing has been completed as well: the bridge was imagined as a “belvedere” on the city, openness and transparency are its main characteristics, while keeping the necessary protection standards imposed by SNCF French Railway Company.
