BRUSK welcomes visitors with first exhibitions, Bruges (BE)
-
The construction of Kunsthal BRUSK, located in the heart of Bruges and its museum quarter, was completed in September 2025. During the festive opening last weekend, many art enthusiasts came to discover this new cultural venue. The Kunsthal welcomed the public with two exhibitions installed in the two impressive halls on the first floor of the new building. The art hall is dedicated to creating new spatial and immersive art experiences, with a strong focus on natural light, generous ceiling heights, and open spaces. Its robust and adaptable structure, featuring large spans and high load-bearing capacity, allows for a wide variety of future uses. The structural design was developed by Ney & Partners. Distinctive elements include the steel roof structures of the two exhibition halls, designed with a characteristic four-pitched hipped form, as well as the suspended roof between the halls, which gives the building its iconic silhouette. Architects: Robbrecht en Daem architecten, in collaboration with Olivier Salens architects.
