A new footbridge for the Waalhaven, Nijmegen (NL)

The new footbridge across the entrance of the Waalhaven harbour will become part of a pedestrian connection between the city centre and the Waalfront Development Zone. The Waalhaven bridge stands high on its feet, in order not to obstruct shipping traffic from the port, even at the highest water levels.
