PROJECT
04.029 | Glass Roof Dutch Maritime Museum
-
The roof of the Dutch Marine Museum courtyard in Amsterdam had to offer an intrinsic added value to this historic building. Based on wind hoses of ancient marine maps of the museum collection, a 30 by 30 m steel structure is developed. An optimisation of the structure was completed to avoid any horizontal reactions on the existing building.
