PROJECT

14.046 | Brabantnet Infrastructure

Brabantnet is a collection of three inter-connected tramlines (Sneltram, Ringtram, and Luchthaventram) near Brussels, Belgium, spanning a total of 30 km of railway infrastructure. The network allows for a high-speed connection between Brussels, its hinterland, and Brussels Airport. In the project Ney & Partners is responsible for the bridges, tunnels and trams station infrastructure (canopies, depots, etc ). The complete preliminary study calls for an integral vision on railway engineering, landscaping, mobility, urban integration, and infrastructure design. The aim is to go through all relevant planning phases (RUP, project-MER, building permit), and prepare a DBFM-formula.
