PROJECT

14.101 | Interventions Canal Charleroi-Brussels – Misiabrug

Ney & Partners works on three subprojects in the city of Halle. The Misiabrug (formerly Zuidbrug) will be a new car link between the Bevrijdingsplein and the Vogelpers. The project is a technical challenge given that two railway lines also need to be bridged in addition to the canal. The Misiabrug is a bridge of type “Bowstring” composed of a mixed steel-concrete deck with a concrete thickness of 27 cm. The bridge has a length of 113 m associated to a maximal width of 14.35 m.
